Is Sanctuary Shattered Sun free to play?
The demo is free on Steam. The full game will be a paid Early Access release targeting ~March 2027 (~1 year after Kickstarter). No final price is confirmed, though developers have cited a maximum of around $50.
What is Sanctuary Shattered Sun?
A large-scale RTS by Enhearten Media set on a Dyson Sphere in 2758. Three factions — the EDA, Guard, and Chosen — fight for control with up to 10,000 units, simulated projectiles, weather control, and map-altering superweapons.
Which languages are supported?
This wiki supports: English, Français, Deutsch, Español. Configure locales in site.meta.json and run npm run generate:i18n.
Is this an official wiki?
No. sanctuaryshatteredsun.wiki is a fan-made resource. For official announcements, visit the Enhearten Media community site or Steam store page.
Does the demo have multiplayer?
Not yet. The July 2026 demo includes single-player scenarios only. Multiplayer is planned for Early Access.
Which faction is best for beginners?

Can I run Sanctuary on Linux?
Not currently. The Steam demo explicitly states it does not run properly on Linux. Windows 10 or 11 64-bit is required.
